Porcelain figurine of Commedia del'Arte Harlequin playing the bagpipe. Hand-painted with yellow and pink enamels, the shirt is decorated with playing card suits. The man is resting on a moulded rocaille base that is decorated with gilt.

Designed by Marx Eugène Clauss after a Meissen example.

Good antique condition. Chip to the front of the hat, mostly visible from underneath; chip to tip of lower pipe; losses to fingers on left hand; very light wear to gilt on base.
