Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A Regency linen press is a traditional piece of English storage furniture dating from the early 19th century, featuring an upper cupboard with fitted shelves or slides mounted on top of a chest of drawers.

These cabinets were predominantly crafted from solid mahogany or oak frame construction, frequently featuring flame mahogany veneers, boxwood string inlay, pine interior drawer linings, and cast brass fittings.

Authentic pieces feature hand-cut dovetail drawer joints, historical drawer linings made of pine or oak, hand-planed back panels, period-appropriate brass keyhole escutcheons, and natural timber oxidisation.

A linen press functions as versatile storage within contemporary homes, operating as a bedroom wardrobe, a dining room server for tableware, or a concealed entertainment cabinet in a living area.

Dust the surface regularly with a dry microfibre cloth and apply a thin layer of natural beeswax polish along the wood grain twice a year, ensuring the piece is kept away from direct heat sources to prevent veneer shrinkage.
