Pair Antique Scottish Silver Plated Sauce Boats C.1900

Description

A beautiful and very usable pair of late Victorian / Edwardian sauce boats made from silver, each a very slightly different shape, presumably for different types of sauce.

They stand on the most elegant legs with the rims decorated with an attractive cast grape & vine decoration.

The underside of each is signed by Alexander Scott, which was a Scottish jeweller based in Glasgow, this piece dates to around 1900, late Victorian or Edwardian.

A real classic to adorn your dining table. Excellent conditon measuring 7 1/2" x 3 3/4".
