This 19thc. barrel back leather wing chair was made in the early 19th. century.
The leather is secured by hundreds of brass headed studs, a process that takes patience and a lot of skill.
The barrel back with the multiple pleats and then the good deep wings. It has a deep loose feather cushion.
The mahogany channelled moulded front legs with the Chippendale influence, and with the square splayed legs to the rear.
Imagine sitting back on here, relaxing after a hard day and feeling all the stresses flooding away as you settle down.
The leather is a lovely olive colour.
