The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Glasgow 1934 together with the mark for the assay agent Samuel Burgess. This is a good quality case with screw on front and back. The front and side of the case are in good condition, the back of the watch has some unevenness.
The lens is in lovely condition, as is the dial with a red number 12, blued steel hands and an outer minute track.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
