A French brass cased striking carriage clock with the original carrying box. An enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. A lever escapement visible through the oblong top glass. The original carrying case. Circa 1895.
