A George V era silver jewellery or trinket box with clear hallmarks on the base and lid for Birmingham 1924 and makers mark for Adie Bros. The box stands on three fleur de lys feet and has a wide engine turned basket weave lid very typical of the Deco era, which catches and radiates the light. The lid has a plain round centre. Inside the box is lined with navy blue silk. The inside of the lid is gilt lined, a mark of quality. In excellent condition, it is a very stylish item from the Deco era.
