This handsome Victorian ship in a box diorama which has been lovingly handmade using wood is of beautiful quality, dates from the late 19th century and is encased in a glass fronted wooden box.
We believe this diorama is a model of a ship mooring at Tynemouth pier with Tynemouth Priory Castle and the lighthouse in the background.
This full ship in a box is a model of Lance, a black & white ship and has wonderful detail including four masts with rigging and a red ensign flag flying.
This charming piece of folk art is in very nice condition, looks wonderful displayed on a shelf and makes a great talking piece.
