A fine example of a 19thc walnut page turner, with intricately carved shapes and small oak leaves that are bordered by fine incised lines.... the history of the page turner goes back a very long way, as they were used in churches and large houses where they were used to turn pages on bibles, large books and manuscripts......also much later newspapers.......excellent mellow colour and condition.
