Antique Novelty Hallmarked Silver Enamel Stamp Case ‘vesta’

A beautiful English novelty hallmarked silver stamp box/case in the form of a vesta case, of rectangular form with a side hinged lid and a bale to attach to a chatelaine, the box is hand painted in guilloche enamel depicting a winged angel standing behind the letter A amongst flowers. This splendid silver stamp case is hallmarked on the inner rim dated 1925 assayed in London and is in excellent overall condition measuring 1 ¼ inches in length.
