Boxed Pair Antique English Sterling Silver Napkin Rings - 1895

Description

A very handsome pair of Victorian sterling silver napkin rings remaining in their original velvet and silk lined presentation box.

Each napkin ring is engraved to the front around a small oval cartouche which could be engraved by your silversmith if desired. The decoration continues around the side and on the back is reduced to a decorative engraved border. This is where the hallmark can be found for London 1895, making this a super Victorian period pair. The makers initials are also present for the renowned silversmith, William Hutton & Sons Ltd.

Each ring remains in excellent condition measuring 1 1/8" thick with a diameter of 1 5/8". Combined, they weigh 1.49 troy ounces or 46.3 grams.
