Description

A beautiful Victorian Period burr walnut and parcel gilt open bookcase. The top veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut with rounded corners and gilt gesso applied mouldings. Having three open shelves, two of which are adjustable. The rounded corner columns also having fine gilt gesso mouldings with ribbon and swag detail. The ends also veneered in beautifully figured walnut and raised on a rounded cornered plinth with further gilt gesso mouldings. English circa 1870-1880, in stunning condition and a wonderful colour

Dimensions: 45" wide x 13.5" deep x 36" high
