French Silver Plated Coffee Pot by Victor Saglier Paris

Description

An unusual silver plated coffee pot. Dating to the mid 19th century and marked for maker Victor Saglier (1809-1894) of Paris. With stylised griffin headed spout and standing on four lion paw feet. With a wooden handle and acorn finial.

The condition is good overall with no splits. Slight copper bleed to the raised edges and one patch of copper bleed to the body with a small dent. Slightly discoloured to the interior but overall a fine decorative piece.
