A beautiful display cabinet.
The cabinet features a pair of Astral glazed doors with all of its original hand floated glass, complete with its original lock and key, ideal for storing and displaying small ornamentals .
I nternally there are 2 material covered shelves and the interior has been recently re-covered with a cream damask material incorporating a discreet floral pattern which is in lovely clean condition. The frontage features geometric boxwood inlays and stringings throughout with 2 finely dovetailed drawers to the lower frieze. The cabinet stands on square tapering legs with a shaped rail between .
This cabinet has obviously really been looked after as it is in a lovely original condition complete with its original lightly faded Mahogany colour and French polished finish.
We have just cleaned and waxed this item to enhance the French polished surface and preserve it for many years to come .
Please note; this item is in very good condition for its age but will have the odd blemish here and there. However, we feel that adds to the charm of the item with it being an antique.
