Webberley Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
The well turned gunbarrel column is beautiful, substantial and supports the top so that it is perfectly level and firm.

The top can be tilted so that the table takes up very little space when not in use. The brass catch appears original and works well and the table tilts and closes smoothly.
Lovely colour throughout and no visible repairs, worm, breaks or damage.

Made by hand in around 1820, a very good usable and practical Regency supper table.
Dimensions are:
46.25 inches wide, 58.5 inches long and 27.5 inches high.
Floor to underside of top (knee room) is 26.5 inches.
Max height of table when folded up is 62.25 inches.
For metric please multiply by 2.5
