A beautiful Edwardian corner cabinet
This cabinet has obviously really been looked after as it's in a lovely original condition with its lovely original colour and high sheen French polished finish. The cabinet is complete with all of the original hand floated rippled glass. The cabinet features ornate marquetry inlays top pediment which is also shaped, fret-worked and moulded. Below the pediment is the most beautifully inlaid frieze in a floral pattern which surrounds the cabinet with Boxwood Ebony and Satinwood stringings carrying on throughout. The cabinet comes complete with the original working lock with 1 original key and brass keyhole escutcheon. The cabinet features 3 shelves making it the ideal storage for glasses and/or drinks. We have sympathetically restored this item maintaining patina by just carefully waxing this item to enhance the French polished surface and preserve it for many years to come.
