A rare music cabinet ideal for displaying.
This cabinet is in great original condition featuring its ornate floral marquetry inlays throughout to the rear up-stand and the door. The cabinet has its original glazed French polished finish throughout complete with its red-ish Walnut original colour. The glazed door is complete with its original hand floated glass which is framed by a simple moulding, the door is lockable via its original lock and original key. Unlocking and opening the door reveals its 4 shelves.
We have sympathetically restored, carefully cleaned and waxed this cabinet, maintaining its original patina whilst giving a lovely natural sheen and the item is ready for its new home.
Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs below. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents, however, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character to a piece.
