Antique Gold Cufflinks With Blue Guilloche Enamel 9ct Gold & Sterling Silver - Victorian C.1863

£750    $932    €900
We are delighted to offer this marvellous pair of antique gold and silver cufflinks with a wonderful combined design of a rose gold panel and silver-blue sunburst guilloche enamel.

The rose gold portion features a modest yet elegant reeded stripe design and was made in Birmingham in 1863. A later converted/modified silver and gold chain connects each side to a wonderful sterling silver portion which is of a slightly later period c.1888-1925 by David Andersen.

The striking guilloche pattern combined with the white bezel/piping on the edge makes for a highly distinguished and stylish choice for the discerning collector of antiques and sartorial accoutrements.

The unusual combination of rose gold and blue enamel creates a striking contrast that is wonderful and presents a uniqueness only visible when your cuff is turned and perhaps only noticeable to the keen-eyed.

Furthermore, depending on the occasion and your feeling on the day, it could be worn in reverse for a completely different and understated appearance, thus having two different cufflinks in one design.

Overall, a unique and superb accoutrement for those who wish to make a subtle yet sophisticated statement and a wonderful gift unlike any other to those who appreciate the fine detailing of antique jewellery.

The gold portion is marked with English marks for 9ct gold and the silver, with 925 for sterling and David Andersen''s mark.

All of our jewellery comes with a complimentary hard shell gift box with a velvet interior.
