Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The desk surface top has a sloped middle flanked by flat sides each with red leather skivers over three drawers, the middle being a dummy drawer. The slope lifts and is held in place by a wooden restrictor, to reveal a fitted interior with two small drawers and five pigeon holes. Raised on twin pedestals each with three graduating drawers either side of a large kneehole, each drawer with two wooden knobs. Raised on a moulded plinth base with castors below.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the sides, shelf and plinth base. There are marks to the leather surface top, however, this does not affect the overall integrity of the piece. All drawers are running smoothly. A great example of a large antique oak sloped twin pedestal desk.
