Fine oil on canvas by Sir James Lawton Wingate R.S.A. 1846-1924 titled North of the Machery (Highland Scotland), contained in its original fancy gilt frame. All in fine condition but has been re-lined. The very well know Scottish artist exhibited extensively and became President of the R.S.A. in 1919. This is a typical example of his later work,
