A large 19th Century mahogany secretaire chest of drawers, having a nice figured top with a double d moulded edge above a decorative fluted frieze, the chest having a central secretaire drawer, with the drawers front having a decorative shaped flame mahogany panel, pulling out to reveal a lovely fitted interior consisting of nine mahogany lined interior drawers, various compartments and a writing area, either side of the secreataire drawer are two small drawers to the left and a single drawer to the right with a faux double drawer front, below this are three long graduated drawers, all drawers having the original brass ring handles, shaped apron below and standing on bracket feet. Circa 1830.
