This is a chain fusee 8 day clock. The clock case consists of a very narrow mahogany and moulded dial surround. The mahogany case with a movement access window to the right hand side. Also access via the bottom of the case.
The clock has a Brass bezel with flat glass over a white dial. It has black Roman hour numerals and steel hands, with a single winding hole. The eight day duration, fusee movement with Anchor Recoil escapement, four knopped pillars and shouldered plates. Also a substantial good quality brass pendulum and a heavy square brass fusee movement.
It is ''signed'' on the dial ''Mapin & Webb”.
