A delightful early 19th brass bound Anglo Indian campaign/military chest of drawers of small proportions in padouk wood. It is in two parts with cast iron carrying handles to the sides for easy transit for officer on manoeuvres, has hardwood linings, brass inset handles, working locks and is on turned bun feet. It has a fabulous warm colour and patina.
A very practical and decorative piece and unusually small so photographed with 17th English chest in last image to give a sense of scale.
