Description

A very good quality and ornate French Victorian period bronze gilt antique mantel or table clock in the rococo style. Having pierced scrolling foliate design, decorative moulded detail and diamond pattern to the sides finished with a vase of flowers to the top of the case.

The clock has a white enamel dial with Roman numerals and a French eight day duration movement on silk suspension which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell with outside count wheel.

The movement back plate is stamped with the makers name:-
