Description

Late 19th.c. walnut bookcase c.1880. Two door glazed bookcase top fitted with three adjustable shelves (internal depth 9"). On a two door cupboard base with a single shelf inside and two drawers in the waist. Crisp moulded cornice, attractively shaped glazing bars and original bevelled glass. Unusual carved floral detail to the door panels, moulded drawer fronts and reeded uprights. Retaining the original decorative brass handles. With an old split to the timber at the right hand corner of the top of the base. Otherwise very good condition and particularly nice colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
