The sapphire is claw set in yellow gold and surrounded by twelve high white and bright old mine cut diamond in a coronet cluster setting. On a slim 18k yellow gold shank which tapers at the shoulders

Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
Cut – Cushion cut sapphire with old mine cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are G to H.
Clarity – The sapphire is loupe clean. The diamonds are VS1 to SI1.
Carat – The sapphire is a known 2.99 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.00 carat.
Circa – 1900.

Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is 7.46 x 7.46mm. The head of the ring is 14.7 x 15mm and sits 7.7mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
