The chrome to the lid and stopper in good condition. No damage to the glass. Signed ‘Daum Nancy’ just above the rim of the base.

Daum is a decorative glass factory based in Nancy, France. Founded in 1878 by Jean Daum with his two sons, Auguste and Antonin continuing the company’s growth. During the Universal Exhibition of 1900 Daum was awarded a ‘Grand Prix’ medal. Daum glass became more complex and decorative, with acid etching, carving, enamelling and engraving on a single piece of glass, producing creative glass masterpieces, still highly regarded and sought after today.
