Philip Carrol Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
On one pocket, Cupid drinks from a large bottle, whilst he holds an urn aloft on the other. The rims with bands of stylised acanthus leaves.
Coloured in vivid Pratt type enamel, and painted with underglaze blue flowers.
Both wall pockets pierced for suspension.
Height – 30 cm, 11 3/4”.
Width – 15.5 cm, 6 1/8”.
Depth – 8 cm, 3 1/8”.
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
