Antique Early Metalware 17thc/18thc Single Brass Snuff Box Engraved Afm. English C1680-1720.

A rare survival from the late 17thc / early 18thc brass circular snuff box....it is engraved AFM on the top and AM on the underneath....it is engraved in the ''old'' script that you find on the early boxes from the late 17thc period and when you look at the wear on the hinge....it has worn so much , that it is now flush with the rest of the box...it is in very good condition with a great colour....a real collectors piece...!
