Description

A small, high quality mid 17th century English oak lowboy with an excellent colour and in superior original condition with original brasses and original iron lock with working key. The drawer retaining its original linings.

The twin boarded over sailing top with shaped border over a single frieze drawer that sits within a carved detailed moulding. All set on elegant cabriole legs with large pad feet and with a well shaped apron.

Very solid and robust, the colour really good, small knocks and bruises consistent with age and use but in very good original condition and of a desirably small size with lovely well balanced proportions.
