A Copper and Brass Ankerlight Lantern

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1920-1940 a well made, solid brass and copper Ankerlight by Den Haag of Rotterdam. The bubble glass has a soft yellow tinge, lighter than may appear in the images.

It was used as a ceiling lantern and still has an old electric bulb holder inside. It will need rewiring before use.

The lantern has been polished and is in very good condition. It measures 25cm in height, 28cm with the handle up, and is approximately 45cm in circumference, and it weighs 0.9kgs.
