A neat antique Victorian rosewood Davenport desk. The antique Davenport desk has a sloped green leather writing surface, which opens to reveal a fitted interior, consisting of two dummy drawers to the bottom and two working drawers to the top. To the right-hand side of the davenport desk is a small hinged drawer with a pen holder and two inkwells, above the cupboard door which opens to reveal four drawers. The antique Davenport desk has decorative carved front corbels and is raised on four castors.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related scratches to the leather writing surface, marks to the base and some scratches to the top. drawers are running smoothly, and the davenport desk is structurally sound and solid. A beautiful example of an antique Victorian rosewood davenport desk.
