The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement, signed Limit, which is working well. The movement was made by Thommen for Limit. The company was an importer of watches into the UK, and they were based in Oldham in Lancashire, UK. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marks but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition, and it has its original blued steel hands.
The watch comes with a single chain, 31cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
