Superb copies of Ming Dynasty Ice Chests on Stands. The chests have a metal lining and ornate air medallions. There are two decorative brass handles to each chest to enable easy carrying of the chest when not positioned on stand. The wood we believe is a Chinese hardwood, most likely a derivative of Walnut with a satin finish. The chests make excellent stands for table lamps each end of a sofa and offer most useful storage within. Please note the photographs were taken in natural daylight so the colour is a true representation.
