Gents 9ct gold Longines ‘bubble back’ wrist watch.

The watch has a 17-jewel calibre 12.68ZS hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Longines name and it has the serial number 10,586,068 which dates it back to 1958.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the ‘bubble back’ case back for Birmingham 1957, with a case maker’s mark for Dennisons and an importer’s mark for Baume, importer of Longines to the UK and the Commonwealth. The case is in lovely condition and is free from any personal inscriptions.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds sweep and outer minute markers. There is some light marking but nothing serious at all.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a Longines presentation box.
