Buckingham Interiors has dated this William Mary Longcase Clock to the 17th Century.
The chapter ring signed with the makers name, enclosing the two train, four pillar movement striking on a saucer bell. The figured elm and walnut case with a conforming lower board, upon a plinth base, 207cm high, with two weights and pendulum

Provenance: Property of 7th Baron Harlech, The Lord Harlech, Glyn & Brogyntyn.
Condition report. General light tarnishing to the clock dial. This clock has been in storage for decades and is in remarkably good order. The movement will be given a full service and with that comes a 2-year guarantee.
