Joseph Saere was working in Perpoole Lane, London between 1687 – 1704.
The flat top hood with a moulded cornice, blind fretwork frieze and glazed side windows, encasing the 28cm square brass and silvered dial, centered with a subsidiary second dial and date aperture. The chapter ring signed with the makers name, enclosing the two train, four pillar movement striking on a saucer bell. The figured elm and walnut case with a conforming lower board, upon a plinth base, 207cm high, with two weights and pendulum

Condition report. General light tarnishing to the clock dial. This clock has been in storage for decades and is in remarkably good order. The movement will be given a full service along with a 2-year guarantee.
