Antique 19th Century Pine Trunk

A lovely Victorian antique pine trunk or blanket box. The pine trunk has a hinged lid that opens to reveal a neat interior with a candle box. There are exposed dovetail joints to the corners, and black metal carry handles to either side for easy lifting. The pine trunk has all the original ironage. Raised on a plinth base. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and staining to the top, front and sides. The antique 19th century pine trunk remains structurally solid and sound. A great example of its kind.
