Rose Medallion is a pattern of Chinese export porcelain introduced in the 19th century, featuring a central medallion surrounded by alternate panels of human figures, birds, butterflies, and flowers. The design belongs to the Famille Rose palette and was produced predominantly in Jingdezhen and enamelled in Guangzhou for Western markets.

These lighting fixtures consist of a hard-paste porcelain body decorated with overglaze enamels and gilding. The base, neck ring, and internal stem are constructed from cast brass or gilt bronze (ormolu) to secure the electrical fittings and support a textile lampshade.
