A Sampson Morden Chester Silver Dog Whistle

A delightful late Victorian silver dog whistle, assayed at the sought after Chester Office and made by the great name of Sampson Morden. This lovely example is in good working order and has a hallmarked attaching ring to the base for a fob chain or chatelaine. The body is beautifully engraved with acanthus leaves and is fully hallmarked. A lovely collectable example by a great Maker and a practical gift idea. Dimensions below.
