This is an antique desktop writing slope. An English, burr walnut and brass correspondence box, dating to the mid Victorian period, circa 1860.

An attractive and delightfully appointed slope for the desktop

Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good condition

Striking burr walnut stocks present superb grain interest

Rich caramel hues dance beneath a wax polish finish

Domed stationery compartment dressed with a brass twist latch escutcheon — key present
