Excellent French Ormolu mantle clock dating to C1860

Stamped O. Berger A Paris, serial number 1418

The case with fine decoration, with a lady in period costume leaning against her books, all in very good order.

Standing on its original Ebonized base and complete with the large original hand blown glass dome, complete with ripples in the glass. No chips or cracks anywhere, remarkable.

8 day time and strike movement fully serviced and keeping excellent time

Porcelain dial with delicate roman numerals, one tiny nibble near the left winding hole

The overall size of the clock including the dome is 20 inches in height (51cm) x 16 1/2 inches wide (42cm), a large impressive clock
