A superb rare English solid sterling silver bookmark or page maker. It is hallmarked for Chester 1923 with the makers mark being that of Charles Horner. It has been beautifully designed having a early yellow celluloid handle, Horner was one of the first silversmiths to experiment with early plastics in his designs. It is in superb condition being free from digs splits chips and repairs. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.5cms) long and weighs 2 grams. A beautifully designed rare example.
