This is a small C19th mahogany, probably domestic, apothecary or medical box. It has a brass shield back escutcheon and inside there is a divided interior with its two original glass bottles. There is a thin section at the back which has an old apothecary label folded in it.
The box measures 16cm h x 13.5cm dw x 9.5cm d.
