Large bronze sculpture of a walking horse signed by the artist Maurice de Mathelin de Patigny (1854 - 1905). The piece is of a walking horse with docked tail and is signed and dated. It is in excellent condition and stands of a simple wooden base.

Maurice de Mathelin was a famous Belgian sculptor who lived between 1854 and 1905.

Works of his are present in public buildings in Belgium.
