Magnificent Alabaster sculpture representing ‘The Kiss of Cupid & Psyche’ after Antonio Canova (1757-1822), a great Italian sculptor of the 18th century, the original created in 1793
The sculpture in is white alabaster, and sits upon a grey veined alabaster base. With fine, well executed carving close to the initial work of Canova. Unsigned.
