Description

This very elegant and decorative silver and glass teapot stand is dated Birmingham 1926 and beard the marks of the renowned silversmiths and retailers Mappin &Webb. The circular glass mounted with a solid silver lattice mount.

Hallmarks:

Mn&Wb for Mappin & Webb

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Date letter "B" for 1926.

Lion Passant.

Dimensions:

Diameter: 12.5cm / 5 inches.

Condition:

Very good

Glass in very good condition.

Silver mount with no loss.

Ever so slight distortion of lattice decorations at the centre, quite usual for this type of stand.
