Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco rings from the 1920s and 1930s typically feature clean geometric silhouettes, streamlined bands, and refined metalwork, often highlighting central gemstones such as old cut diamonds within platinum or white gold mountings.

Rings from this era predominantly utilised platinum or white gold for settings to complement white diamonds, featuring hand-cut diamonds such as old European or cushion cuts held by claw or bezel settings.

Authentic period pieces generally exhibit historic hallmarks, characteristic hand-cut diamond facets with small tables and open culets, and hand-finished shoulder detailing rather than modern cast precision.

An Art Deco ring functions as a focal piece that layers comfortably alongside plain contemporary metal bands or can be worn individually as an understated statement of historic craftsmanship.

Clean fine jewellery gently using warm water with mild soap and a soft-bristled brush, avoiding harsh chemicals, and arrange annual inspections with a professional jeweller to ensure claw settings remain secure.
