Victorian Button Upholstered Chaise Longue Daybed of Country House Proportions

Description

A super quality and fabulously comfortable Victorian chaise longue / daybed of country house proportions in the manner of Howard & Sons, circa 1890, with deep buttoned upholstery and sprung seat, raised on mahogany ring turned supports terminating in original brass castors. Upholstered in a golden beige self-patterned damask type fabric and bullion fringing.

In excellent condition throughout. I also have Colefax & Fowler floral chintz loose covers that were made for the chaise.

Measurements 93cm high, the seat 42cm high. 130cm long and 78cm wide, overall length 162cm.
