A stylish and well crafted late 19thc Arts and Crafts copper coal or log scuttle with integral shovel and a pair of cast iron fire dogs or fire tool stands which match the cast iron handles of the scuttle and shovel. C1880. The copper scuttle stands on copper ball feet. The cast iron work on the handles is especially skilled with lattice work grips and spiral work on both the scuttle handle and fire dogs proving these to be part of a bespoke set. Good solid condition.
